Geo-Col specializes in researching, developing, testing, and implementing GIS-based spatial decision support systems (SDSS) and planning support systems (PSS) that are used in collaborative workshop-and living lab-based settings for Geodesign, participatory planning and sustainable development.

These GIS solutions can be built within GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS Online, Phoenix, among others) or from scratch, and are typically used in combination with interactive hardware instruments, such as the touch-enabled MapTable. In particular, with many years of successful project experience, Geo-Col has grown as a certified consultant with proven in-depth knowledge and training capabilities regarding the ArcGIS-based CommunityViz software and applications.
